MyIDP Workgroup Series: Career Planning by Reverse Engineering Your Future

Like becoming an expert in your chosen scientific field, positioning yourself for your next career step is a process that takes time and attention. Though you may be early in your graduate career, it’s not too soon to begin learning the process of exploring your career interests and developing the skills and experiences you will need in the future.

An individual development plan (IDP) helps you explore career possibilities and set goals to follow the career path that fits you best. In this session, you will assess your skills, interest, and values and explore career path matches that align with your unique preferences.

Each session will build upon the next and it is required to attend both sessions.  Please bring your BruinCard and a fully charged laptop (or other web-enabled device).

This workshop is intended for current first-year PhD students in the Graduate Programs in Bioscience.

Wednesday, July 11th and Wednesday, July 25th

2:00 - 4:00pm

Career Center Room 200
