DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED\r \n In light of the strike\, we have decided to postpone this workshop until after the strike resolves so that all interested grad students can participate. A new date and time will be announced soon.\r \n &nbsp\;\r \n &nbsp\;\r \n Receiving and Responding to Feedback\r \n  \r \n November 30\, 2022\r \n 9:00am-10:30am\r \n Location: Virtual workshop via Zoom.\r \n Receiving and responding to feedback is a critical part of the training process. During this session\, participants will:\r \n \r \n 	Identify the role of constructive feedback and recognize intent behind statements and questions.\r \n 	Assess the influence that mentors can have on a trainee’s confidence\, and devise strategies to cope with and respond to feedback that negatively influences their confidence.\r \n 	Practice effective ways to communicate with their research mentor.\r \n
