Information on Immigration Executive Order (March 6, 2017)
This webpage replaces an earlier page that described the January 27, 2017 executive order on immigration.
On March 6, 2017, President Trump issued a new executive order on immigration, which restricts entry into the United States for 90 days for individuals from six countries – Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. A preliminary statement and guidance have been released by the UC Office of the President and can be found at this website:
