Biography

David Nathanson is an Associate Professor in the Ahmanson Translational Imaging Division (ATID) in the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at UCLA. Dr. Nathanson received his B.S. from Willamette University and his Ph.D in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology under Dr. Paul Mischel at UCLA. He was then a post-doctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Caius Radu at UCLA. Dr. Nathanson’’s lab focuses on the interplay between aberrant signal transduction and metabolism in glioblastoma (GBM), the most lethal brain tumor in adults, and developing new therapeutic strategies to treat this deadly disease.
