Biography:

Dr. Katherine Narr is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA and a faculty member of the Ahmanson-Lovelace Brain Mapping Center. For close to 10 years, her research has focused on using multiple imaging methods, including structural, functional and diffusion imaging and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1HMRS) to facilitate a deeper understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms and genetic contributions associated with schizophrenia, depression and other adult and pediatric disorders. A focus of her work includes investigating the mechanisms associated with successful treatment response in major depression.
