Graduate Programs in Bioscience would like to congratulate the SACNAS at UCLA Chapter for being selected for the 2015 Undergraduate Chapter Pillar Award.  

Last year, the SACNAS at UCLA Chapter created and hosted the first SACNAS Student Chapter Leadership Institute (SCLI). The SCLI was designed to foster the support and growth of nascent chapters. The daylong event was attended at UCLA by five SACNAS Chapters from across Southern California campuses, including representatives from the National Organization. Additionally, they hosted a family engagement and community college day at the 2014 SACNAS Conference. The UCLA Chapter continues to innovate and is determined to set the bar even higher this year.
