The Scientific Excellence through Diversity Seminar (SEDS) Series will be hosting Dr. Cassandra Quave, Assistant Professor at Emory University, whose work focuses on ethnobotanical/natural products-based drug discovery to tackle inflammatory skin diseases and antibiotic resistance. In addition to her work, she is an advocate for science communication, through her podcast Foodie Pharmacology, and prosthetics/accessibility in science and field work.
