Four GPB professors were highlighted in INSIGHT Into Diversity 100 Inspiring Women in STEM Awards.  Each of these women have taken imporant leadership rolls in the education and research missions of the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM).  We are proud to recognize and congratulate:

Marie-Francoise Chesselet (Neuroscience) – Chair of the Department of Neurobiology (current Interim Chair)

Judy Gasson (Cell & Developmental Biology) – Senior Associate Dean for Research in the DGSOM and long time Director of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center

Kelsey Martin (Cell & Developmental Biology, Neuroscience) – Interim Dean of the DGSOM

Sherie Morrison (Immunity, Microbes & Molecular Pathogenesis, Molecular Pharmacology) – Founding Chair of the Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics department (current Interim Chair)
